Let's talk brows...I have been messaged by ALOT of ladies asking questions mostly about microblading!
🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋 Perfect brows for microblading: ALL BROWS! Brows that are thin, thick, lacking shape, not there at all, sparse, uneven, to small, has a scar, alopecia, to light...the list goes on!* ... Here's some of the questions I have been asked and I want to share! 👉 What is microblading❓Microblading is a form permanent makeup. It is a procedure where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine. Hair-like strokes with the tool are created to mimic natural hairs in your brows. Shading can be added, multiple colors to add depth, ombré style, powder effect to create a softer looking brows! The possibilities are endless! 👉 Do I have to shave my brows❓NO! Hell no! Haha! Microblading can be used to enhance what you already have or to completely create the look of a "normal" brow of hair! 👉 Does it hurt❓Yes and no BUT I do use topical anesthetic prior and during the procedure! Everyone is different! I can tell you that whatever pain you may feel, it's tolerable! 👉 Are you tattooing eyebrows on my face forever❓No. While I say permanent makeup, the truth is all permanent makeup that is done by someone trained correctly is only semi permanent. A normal tattoo goes into 7 layers of the skin. Permanent makeup only goes into 3. 👉 How do you know what color to use❓I have multiple pigments that have all been tested and have been proven safe to use! During the consultation, we discuss what you're looking for. I will choose some colors and test them on your skin...once we both agree, then we have officially found your color(s)! 👉 How long do the results last❓A lot of the answer to this question is YOUR at home care. If you're applying sunblock, avoiding excess exfoliation of the area, staying away from acid peels, chances are the results are going to last anywhere between 2-4 years! 👉 Is this a one time procedure or do I have to come back multiple times❓Most procedures I do, whether it's microblading, eyeliner, scalp Esthetics...it requires at least one touch up. When we initially perform the procedure, the skin is "virgin" skin...this means it could retain the pigments beautifully or it means it might not! Everyone is different! Most brows require 2 appointments and if done in the specific recommended time, the touch up is included in your total price! 👉Are you using tattoo ink❓NO!!! I am using pigments designed for permanent makeup! Most pigments are iron or zinc base while most tattoo inks are lead or titanium based! 👉How do you know what kind of brows are meant for me❓Consultation!!! I don't even start the procedure until you have agreed to any potential designs! I tell my clients to bring in pictures of what they are looking for too! We are creating YOUR perfect brow!!! 👉Will I have to continue to groom my brows❓Yes...unfortunately microblading does not make your unwanted hairs stay away...it does however create the beautiful shape and fullness you are looking for without having to figure out just which hair to remove to achieve that "perfect" shape! Do you have more questions⁉️ Comment below or contact me!!! I'm happy to answer any all all questions!! *Eyebrows that have received permanent makeup treatments previously may not be a candidate for microblading. A free consultation would be required! Pictures shown are NOT my work.

That's so cool that microblading can actually last between two to four years depending on how well you take care of it. Frankly, my eyebrows have always been bushy, and they don't actually form the nice arch that they're supposed to. I'll have to find somewhere to get microblading from.

Thanks for the tip about how you don't need to shave your eyebrows before a microblading procedure. It would make sense to find out all the different things that you need to do to prepare first. My sister wants to microblade, so she'll have to consider the prep first.

That's good to know that microblading can last for 2-4 years depending on how well you take care of your skin. My daughter wants to get her eyebrows done before her wedding next summer, so I'm looking into when she should have them done. It's good to know it'll last for a long time so she won't have to worry about how her eyebrows look as long as she doesn't over-exfoliate.

Thank you for sharing an informative blog. I have never heard of Microblading before and my grandmother used to have tattoo in her eye brows. Sad to say, that tattoo always go down and turns to be color green. I will be informing her about this Microblading and she might consider this one. I thought that castor oils would help her make her hair grow and make it think, but I guess, it cannot be done since she really is old enough for that.

Wow, I never knew that microblading was something that people will all brow types could do! I have a scar across my left eyebrow that I have had since I was a kid, and I just use makeup to cover it up every day. I will definitely look into microblading as a permanent solution to save on time and money from constantly having to reapply makeup.

I'm so glad that you said that all types of brows are perfect for microblading. I've been looking for a way to add depth to my brows. Maybe an artist can help me get the look that I want since there are multiple pigments that I can choose from.

My mother told me that her eyebrows are thinning. I think that microblading is a great solution for her to have the illusion of fuller brows. Thanks for saying that she doesn't have to shave her brows so that she can accommodate her new ones, so I'll tell her about that so she can go to a spa that offers this.

Thanks for explaining how permanent makeup only goes into 3 layers of skin while tattoos go into 7. My daughter wants to get permanent makeup but my wife tells her no because they are tattoos. I'll explain to both of them that they are not tattoos but rather semi-permanent.

I've been having a hard time getting my eyebrows to look normal. It makes sense that I would want to get a professional to help me out with this! Mircoblading seems like a great option to get things put together properly.

My wife told me she's thinking of microblading. I had never heard the term before so I was confused, which is what brought me here. Thanks for the clarification. It's interesting the pigments can actually mimic real hairs.
